After obtaining his diploma at the conservatory School in Pesaro in 1989, Mr. Pirini dedicated himself to luthery. He has studied and deepened his knowledge of the masters from Bologna; mainly focusing on studying the instruments of Augusto Pollastri and Ansaldo Poggi, pupils of Fiorini.
At the beginning of the 1990s he attended the luthery classes by Benito Tosello from Pieve di Cento school. This allowed him to take the professional luthery courses given by the luther master Marcello Bellei from Modena. It was on this occasion that he met the master Lorenzo Frignani, both a luthier and a historian of Cremona and Bologna luthery.
In his workshop he makes his handcrafted instruments and also repairs and restores professional students' instruments and orchestral instruments, and offers a rental service to students and to amateurs of instruments that he has personally crafted.
